Miniature Painting of Covered Bridge on Wood Easel Signed Jyn Eldridge, painting on fiber board measures 3 x 2 ¼ inches, easel is 5 ¾ inches high, probably mid 1900’s, probably American, painting has minor damage to the corners, white mark on back may have been a tag, easel has a screw and nut holding the easel together that may or may not be original, sweet little painting that would look perfect in a doll house or on a shelf with other miniatures, probably a New England scene of a covered bridge in winter with snow on the ground, there are mountains in the background and water flows beneath the bridge, I cannot find anything on the artist who signed her work along the bottom edge of the fiber board “JYN ELDRIDGE”, all the edges are painted blue, nice subject.
