For sale is a charming original antique 1915 calendar, marked on the reverse:
“The Union Jack Series” “Made in England”
The calendar features a humorous illustrated dog/puppy scene with a rose bush and the wording:
“Best Wishes” “What a fuss they do make about roses — no flavour! no nothing!”
The calendar pad is still present and, importantly, all 12 months appear to be included. It is a small stand-up / shaped card calendar, measuring approximately 20cm high.
