Antique Moonstone Necklace Jugendstil Circa 1915
A beautiful antique moonstone necklace in 835 silver, consisting of 5 triangular panels adorned with roses, the larger central panel also mounted with an oval Ceylon moonstone of 10mm x 8mm. The smaller panels are each separated by a smaller bezel-set cabochon moonstone of 6.5mm diameter. The piece is mounted on an unusual fancy link chain, fastening with a bolt ring closure, and is fitted with a later safety chain for extra security. Dates to around 1915, and has elements of both Art Nouveau and Art Deco design. The moonstones are of good quality, with good blue adularescence. A beautiful and unusual piece.
In very good antique condition, with the moonstones all in good condition. Minor wear to the surface of the stones commensurate with age. No damage or repair. Please see the photos for exact condition detail
