This is an Esterbrook J series fountain pen in a Foliage Green marbled celluloid finish. This is a British-made example produced in England circa 1952. The pen is in good condition with only micro scratches and marks on very close inspection . The pen is fitted with a 2314-M "Relief" Medium nib, marked "Made in USA". The 2314-M Relief nib is a factory-fitted oblique. It is ground at an angle to provide smooth writing and attractive line variation, making it ideal for those who want to add character to their daily handwriting. The pen has been fully serviced and fitted with a new ink sac. The lever-filler mechanism is in perfect working order and the pen is ready to write. The celluloid body remains bright and vibrant. Unusually, this pen still retains its original paper label which says “Esterbrook, British made, Renew point.” The steel trim and double jewels are in good order. Please be sure to look at all the images to enable you to decide on condition for yourself.
