• The DMP-UB400 is part of Panasonic’s higher-end "DMP" series, featuring a more robust design, better internal components, and superior build quality.

• The DP-UB450 is a more budget-oriented model, with a lighter build and slightly less premium feel.

2. Superior Audio Performance

• The UB400 features dual isolated HDMI outputs (one for audio, one for video), reducing signal interference for higher-quality sound.

• The UB450 also has dual HDMI, but the overall audio circuitry in the UB400 is superior, particularly for audiophiles using high-end sound systems.

3. Better Video Processing & Picture Quality

• The UB400 uses Panasonic’s HCX (Hollywood Cinema Experience) Processor, which delivers more accurate colors, better upscaling, and improved HDR tone mapping.
