About this guitar:

Weight: 7.6 pounds
Model Year: 2025
Note:  The Jackson site says this model is sold out, so here is your chance to get one

This guitar came directly from Jackson to my supplier, it has never been sold retail, the protective covers are still on the truss rod cover and back plates.  It was tested and inspected by a team of factory authorized techs, electronics are working as designed, the neck is straight, and the frets are great.   When we polished the guitar we did not find any blemishes, but being black you may find a light blemish somewhere depending on how the light hits the finish.

My comment about the Fishman Fluence Modern humbucker:  If you have not heard or played a guitar with this pickup you are in for a real treat.  If you want a guitar for hard rock or metal you can't find a better pickup, this thing roars.  I test all of my guitars after I receive them, and when I plug in a model with this pickup in it the tone and volume just blows me away, it will do the same for you!

Here is what Jackson says about the Pro Plus Pure Metal Limited Edition KV1A:

  • FAQ, frequently asked questions

Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher?  The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.

Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier.

Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty.  Per agreement with Jackson there is a small used stamp on the back of the headstock to indicate there is no factory warranty and the last two digits of the stamped serial number have been removed and a sticker with the serial number has been placed over the stamped number.

Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping.  Also some players like to set up a new guitar to their own personal preferences.
