A first print edition set of the original run of
The New Mutants (Marvel) #1-100. Most are direct editions, however twelve of them are the Newsstand editions (barcode in the corner). The Newsstand issues included are #4, #6, #11, #12,#14,#15, #16,#17, #46, #52, #80 & #82.
This is a complete set, so it DOES include an original first edition New Mutants #98 (first appearance of Deadpool) and an original first edition of New Mutants #87 (first appearance of Cable).
It also includes 2 variant cover copies of issue #100 (see pics)
So that's 101 comics total for the main series, and I will also include The New Mutants Annuals #1, #4, #5, #6, #7
As to quality, I'm not a comics appraiser but each issue is individually bagged (some with cardboard backing), and they are to my eye in very good condition. Like, most of them never read or taken out of the bags.
I bought this set about 20 years ago, and it's been in a box in a closet ever since. I'd like it to find a home where it's appreciated.
I will ship using USPS - and will include additional insurance to protect buyer and seller. Hence the $40 shipping.
