THE FRAME

This is a Pinarello Paris FP — one of the most recognizable and coveted alloy/carbon hybrid framesets in road cycling history. Built in Italy (Fatta in Italia) using Pinarello's proprietary Vires Hydroforming technology on the aluminum front triangle and bonded to full carbon Onda wave-form rear stays, this frameset delivers exactly what made Pinarello famous: Italian style, race-bred engineering, and a ride quality that no mass-market bike can replicate.
The Paris FP sits in a lineage that includes Tour de France winners and some of the most celebrated road bikes ever built. It carries the Fausto Pinarello signature on the top tube — a mark of the family's personal pride in every frame that leaves Treviso.
This frameset is NOS — New Old Stock. It has never been built up and never been ridden. The cobalt blue metallic paint is stunning in person — deep, rich, and full of life. Every decal is original and intact.

TECHNOLOGY

Vires Hydroforming: Pinarello's proprietary hydroforming process shapes the aluminum tubes into complex aero and performance profiles impossible with conventional construction. The result is a front triangle that rivals carbon in stiffness-to-weight while maintaining the durability and feel of quality Italian alloy.
Carbon Onda Rear Stays: Pinarello's iconic Onda (wave) design — developed through two years of Finite Element Analysis — brings five-speed carbon fiber chainstays and seatstays into a flowing S-curve that reduces vibration without sacrificing lateral stiffness. This is the same design philosophy as the full-carbon Dogma line.
Carbon Onda Fork: The matching Onda carbon fork is included. Same wave profile, same ride philosophy — stiff where it needs to be, forgiving where it should be.
Pinarello Integrated Headset: The frame uses Pinarello's proprietary integrated headset system with the Vires Hydroforming badge. All cups are present and installed.

CONDITION — HONEST & DETAILED

This frameset is NOS — never built, never ridden. Here is every condition detail:
FRAME TUBES (alloy front triangle): EXCELLENT. The cobalt blue metallic paint is vibrant, deep, and clean across all tube surfaces. No chips, no scratches, no rash anywhere on the main frame tubes.
CHROME/MIRROR GRAPHIC PANEL: BLEMISH PRESENT. The frame features a decorative chrome-effect mirror graphic stripe as part of the paint scheme. On the panel near the fork crown area of the seat tube, there is a visible paint chip/damage to this graphic band. This is the only condition issue on the entire frameset. It is clearly visible in the photos — we are not hiding it. The damage is cosmetic and does not affect the structural integrity of the frame in any way. Price reflects this condition.
CARBON ONDA REAR STAYS: EXCELLENT. The wave-form carbon chainstays and seatstays are clean and undamaged. Original "Onda Rear System / Pinarello" sticker is present and intact on the seatstay.
CARBON ONDA FORK: EXCELLENT. The carbon Onda fork is included. Steerer tube has carbon wrap. Fork blades are clean with no chips, cracks, or damage. Carbon steerer is uncut.
BOTTOM BRACKET SHELL: EXCELLENT. Pinarello MOST proprietary 55mm press-fit shell. Machined faces are clean with no damage or deformation. This is Pinarello's oversized proprietary system from this era — not a standard BB30 or PF30. An adapter sourced through Gita Bike converts this shell to a standard 68mm English threaded BB, which opens up broad compatibility. I should be able to source the BB Shell if necessary for you.
HEADSET: Present, installed, and in excellent condition. Pinarello integrated system with "Pinarello Design Technology / Vires Hydroforming" branded cup. All components are present.
DECALS: ALL ORIGINAL AND INTACT. Paris, Pinarello (multiple locations), Fatta in Italia, Onda Rear System, Vires Hydroforming, Pinarello Design Technology. Fausto Pinarello signature decal on top tube is crisp and clean.
CABLE STOPS / BRAZE-ONS: All cable stops present and in place. Front derailleur clamp boss on seat tube present. All hardware intact.
OVERALL: An exceptional, near-mint NOS Paris FP frameset with one cosmetic blemish honestly disclosed and shown in photos. Everything else is in outstanding condition.
