A handsome and unusual Sterling Silver two-piece traveling communion set consisting of a chalice body for consecrated wine, together with a bayonet fit lift-off pyx box with cover lid for host wafers. The lid with an applied cross-shaped finial, and the chalice and pyx body having gold-gilt interiors, all in its original purple velvet and satin-lined carrying case. This elegant silver communion set was made by    W & G (William & George Neal) of London in 1945. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver traveling communion set are height 4.25 inches, diameter of main body 2 inches.
