When the Tubedreamer '58 was first released, there weren't many 808-style pedals available.

Then, and still today, we can confidently say this is arguably the best 808-style overdrive available.
The Tubedreamer delivers a warm, rich overdrive sound through any amp thanks to its carefully tuned and added midrange frequency register.

The key difference between the Tubedreamer and other Tubescreamers is the choice of three diodes for asymmetrical clipping rather than symmetrical clipping, improving the pedal's responsiveness to fretting and picking nuances.

The Tubedreamer employs the legendary JRC4558D chip, delivering a classic sound similar to the original popular 808, while also introducing a wider gain range accessible via a high-gain stage toggle switch.
