Seems to be in pretty good shape. The normal patina that it is when nobody really shines it up. It does not have the original glass that apparently is supposed to go in it. But it's beautiful. Also there are no marks. So... I'm not positive that it's silver plate. But I'm pretty sure it is. If you think I am wrong, please let me know so that I can adjust it accordingly. I would appreciate that immensely.
This vintage silver-plated salt cellar holder features an American Victorian pattern with intricate detailing. The three legs provide stability for holding the salt cellar, which is not included in the listing. The holder is made of silverplate and was crafted in the United States, showcasing the Victorian style popular during that time period. Perfect for adding a touch of antique charm to any dining table setting.
