Keep your PS3 controller charged and ready to go. This 1.8m USB cable plugs into any USB port on the PS3 console and connects to your controller's Mini USB port. At 1.8m, it is long enough to charge while you play from the couch — no need to stop your game and sit right in front of the console while you wait.

Unlike generic charge-only cables, this is a full data and charging cable. The PS3 DualShock 3 controller requires a proper data handshake to accept a charge — charge-only cables and most phone wall chargers will not work. This cable provides both the data connection and charging current the controller needs. It also lets you pair and register a controller to a new PS3 console, which requires a wired USB connection.

A built-in ferrite core (the cylindrical bead on the cable) helps reduce electromagnetic interference for a clean, reliable signal. The cable features strain-relief moulding at both connectors and a flexible PVC jacket for everyday durability.

Compatibility: Works with all PS3 consoles (fat and Slim) and all PS3 wireless controllers including the DualShock 3, Sixaxis, and PlayStation Move. Also works as a standard Mini USB data/charging cable for other devices such as digital cameras, GPS units, and MP3 players.
