This is a stunning medium sized milk glass opaline pendant ceiling light from the 1930s with a 10 inch Art Deco flying saucer shaped shade , the light has been rewired to modern standards with 3 core earthed coffee coloured braided wire , the light has a very attractive brass bell shaped gallery which has a lovely aged bronze patination , the light has a standard earthed B22 bayonet cap bulb holder , all the brass light fittings have a beautiful aged bronze coloured patina , the light shade has no chips or cracks to the main body just some shallow nibbles to the rim where the gallery sits , they are completely covered by the gallery and are not seen , the shade measures 19 inches in diameter by 62 inches deep , the light has a total drop of 20" inches which can be shortened on request , the shade weight is 793 grams , the fittings weigh 308 grams , the total weight is 1101 grams , this light is ready to fit & enjoy , if you are unsure it is always best to use a qualified electrician for installation for your own safety & remember not over tighten the thumb screws when attaching the shade .
