This is a vintage Thai Shadow Puppet, perhaps this is representing a character from the Ramayana epic such as Rama or a dancer.

These Traditional Puppets are known as Nag Talung or Nang Yai in Thailand.

This is intricately hand-carved and painted on leather or buffalo hide.
