Shipping is calculated by weight and location-ground set as default or you can choose priority under shipping details, if there is a delay within the USPS system I apologize for any inconvenience but cannot control USPS delays once the item is shipped, USPS recently had a price increase with significant increases to some locations--please know the price you see is what USPS charges for size/weight of item to your area
