This was from the toy set ET THE EXTRATERRESTRIAL by LJN with a SPEAK AND SPELL toy for ET to use. Maybe you had this set in the 1970s but lost the SPEAK and SPELL little toy?  Please see photos. Good to very good condition.  See photo with penny for scale.
