This is a wonderful opportunity to acquire an impossibly rare Bedford HA van from 1974.
The van is called a ‘double plus’, this was a factory special edition from Bedford that was rather well appointed as 1970’s vans go. The double plus gets its name from the fact that rear seats are fitted as standard, the coachwork is finished in a beautiful metallic colour called ‘Rivera Blue’. The seating is also very plush and these rare vans featured a carpet and a nice headliner.
The 1256cc petrol engine is married to a 4 speed manual gearbox.
The van has been with the previous for many many years and was tucked away in a dry secure garage for decades after he finished using it.
The van has recently been fully recommissioned and this has involved failed extensive work involving lots of new parts.
Despite the van being an extremely solid survivor, we have had the stripped to bare metal, all glad removed, and then professionally repainted to a very high standard in the original colour of Metallic Rivera blue.
The van will be ready for delivery by the end of February 2024.
