Stunning Vintage Japanese Kutani Moriage Sugar Bowl with Lid

​Up for sale is a gorgeous, hand-painted Japanese porcelain sugar bowl. This piece features an intricate "Moriage" technique, where the gold and enamel detailing is raised, giving it a rich, textured feel.

​Key Features:

​Design: Wrap-around scene featuring Geishas in a traditional Japanese landscape with floral and geometric borders.

​Markings: Authentic red hand-painted "Kutani" (九谷) mark on the base.

​Details: Double-handled design with a matching lid topped with a unique floral/petal finial.

This piece is in very good vintage condition with vibrant colors and intact gilding.

​Note: There is a small, shallow flea-bite chip on the inner rim of the lid (circled in red in photos). It is not visible when the lid is seated on the bowl.
