This is a RARE Vintage KRUGER Christmas Santa Claus and Angels Paper Advent Calendar (851), made in West Germany in the 1940s or 1950s. The advent calendar has a unique nautical boat design and features whimsically illustrated angels and Santa Claus unloading Christmas gifts from a large ship docked in a harbor town. The illustration includes mica glitter accents and is rendered in shades of red, blue, green, yellow, pink, grey, black, white and brown. The advent calendar measures approximately 11" long x 7.75" wide and is in fair vintage, preowned condition. One creased corner and many torn/missing advent window covers.
