All hatching eggs are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and are packaged with great care to help ensure they arrive safely. We take pride in shipping the freshest eggs possible and securely packing each order.

However, due to factors beyond our control once eggs leave our hands, HEN HOLLOW CANNOT GUARANTEE HATCH RATES.

Shipped eggs may experience rough handling, temperature fluctuations, delays, air cell damage, detached saddles, or hairline cracks during transit that can affect hatch success. Incubation practices, incubator calibration, humidity, temperature, turning, and overall handling after delivery also play a major role in hatch outcomes.

By purchasing shipped hatching eggs, the buyer understands and accepts these risks.

📦 SHIPPING DAMAGE / USPS CLAIMSIf eggs arrive visibly damaged, buyers must:• Keep ALL original packaging materials and the shipping box• Take clear photos immediately upon arrival• Contact USPS promptly to begin an insurance claim

USPS may require the damaged eggs and original packaging to be presented at your local post office for inspection. Because the package is no longer in our possession after delivery, the buyer is responsible for filing any USPS insurance claims.

Certain breeds and mixed-color projects may naturally produce variations in feathering, coloring, comb type, leakage, or other traits. These are normal genetic possibilities and are not considered defects.
