Up for sale are these vintage Bon-Bon eyeglass frames imported by Pathway Optical, finished in a beautiful “Lunar Coral” color—a soft blend of coral, amber, and smoky tones. These oversize vintage plastic frames have a classic retro shape that was very popular in fashion eyewear during the 1970s–1980s.
These frames were obtained from the estate of a longtime optometrist and are New Old Stock (NOS)—they have never been worn and have been stored for many years. They remain in excellent vintage condition and may show very minor shelf wear from long-term storage.
Oversized plastic frames like these have become increasingly desirable with collectors and vintage fashion enthusiasts, and unused examples are becoming harder to find.

Pathway Optical Co. was a U.S. optical distributor that supplied eyewear to optometrists and optical retailers throughout the mid-20th century into the 1980s. The company was known for importing fashionable European and international frame styles and offering them to independent optical shops across the United States.
During the 1970s and early 1980s, large plastic and oversize frames like this Bon-Bon model became extremely popular in fashion eyewear. These styles often featured bold shapes and distinctive colors such as coral, amber, and gradient tones, making them standout pieces that remain collectible today.
Please review measurements carefully, as returns are not accepted.
