RARE 18^TH CENTURY TREEN MICROSCOPE STAND – GERMAN / NUREMBERG? – CULPEPER  TYPE

On offer is rare 18^th Century treen microscope stand. Top appears lacking? Base still with its pivoting mirror (mirror broken). Underneath mirror German printed script. Probably made in German / Nuremberg in circa 1750. Culpeper type. Length 14 cm. Two chips to base top. Wonderful patina which only comes with age. Weight 200 grams.
