JL Audio 10W7 / 10W7AE Spider OEM-Equivalent

Designed to match the original suspension characteristics used in the factory 12W7 platform. It delivers the same progressive compliance, control, and durability expected from the original design while restoring proper centering and excursion behavior in high-performance subwoofers.

This spider uses the same collar-based mounting method as the original JL Audio W7 design. The inner diameter is intentionally oversized and must be installed using a voice coil collar. The collar bonds directly to the voice coil, and the spider then bonds to the collar. Because of this design, the collar cannot be omitted, and this spider will not grip the voice coil directly.
