Flyer promoting a talk by the New York-based socialist politician Benjamin Gitlow (1891-1965), a founding member of the CPUSA who later in life turned conservative and McCarthyist. The present item dates from Gitlow's tenure with the Workers Party, on whose ticket he ran for Governor of New York in 1926. The talk, held at the radical Rand School, addressed such questions as "Will the Socialist Party Go Left or Right?" and "Will the Socialist Party split?" Not separately catalogued in OCLC as of July, 2018.
