Mechanical Condition - Excellent - Working Order-b Slight play in front barrel
The lens mounts smoothly onto the camera and communicates all information correctly.
There is slight play in front lens barrel
The zoom is smooth and moves cleanly throughout the full focal range without any resistance or sticking points.
Auto and manual focus is fully operational and smooth from infinity through to close focus
The lens exposes correctly through the F stop range.
The selection switches move easily into position and without any resistance.
Optics Condition - Very Good
The lens coating is in excellent condition and reduces ghost and flare issues.
There are two 5mm fungus spots on the edge of the front optic. This issue does not effect the images captured or impact upon the lens performance. The lens has been priced to reflect this issue. There are no exterior marks / scratches on the glass.
Cosmetic Condition - Excellent
The rubbers are in excellent condition and not slack, discoloured or sticky
The lens is nice to handle and operate
The exterior casing is in very good condition, just slight cosmetic paint loss, mainly surrounding the tripod collar these do not affect performance of the lens or images captured
The lettering and model specification markings are clear and not faded
The filter thread is in excellent condition and a filter, lens cap and hood can be attached.
The scale window is clear and the scale is fully visible

A high-performance fluorite element is combined with five ultra-low dispersion (UD) elements to reduce chromatic aberration throughout the zoom range and producing high contrast images with edge-to-edge definition.
The lens is equipped with a ring-type USM AF motor and a high-speed CPU that makes auto-focusing both faster and quieter. The updated Image Stabilizer mechanism offers a shutter speed advantage equivalent to four-stops, reducing the effect of camera shake in lower light environments.
Being an L-series lens, the Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 L IS II USM is fully weatherproofed. The mount, focus mode switch and focusing ring all feature a dust and drip-proof structure that prevents dust or water from getting inside the lens and camera when used with accompanying weatherproof EOS bodies, making it a highly durable, reliable lens for use day-to-day by professional photographers.
