The Rei Stratocaster R246 was developed based on a Stratocaster that features the Lead II neck, a favorite of Rei's for many years, and various modifications.

While recreating the grip of the Lead II neck, which Rei says feels the most comfortable in his hand, the guitar has been boldly extended to 24 frets, and the body size has been made slightly smaller, allowing for stress-free playing all the way to the 24th fret without losing the Stratocaster's distinctive feel.

Other features that remain in this model include a two-point support bridge combined with Graph Tech saddles for stable tuning, and the Vintage Noiseless Pickups, which are essential to the guitar's sound.

The body color is Rei Blue, inspired by the cover of Rei's first album. Furthermore, Rei's signature is engraved on the back of the headstock, and the "R246" logo designed specifically for this model is packed with his personal touches.
