The Made in Japan Heritage series is designed to provide the player with the ultimate playing experience from a vintage instrument.
These instruments are packed with specifications that will captivate vintage fans, adopted under the supervision of Mark Kendrick, a renowned master builder at the Fender Custom Shop and a deep knowledge of vintage instruments.
All Heritage series models are designed based on profiling data from USA products, with body and neck shapes tailored to the era.
The authentic Fender lineage is maintained down to the smallest details, including cross-wired pickups, pickup settings and tone, and faithful reproduction of the body color.
The Made in Japan Heritage 60s Jazzmaster features an alder or ash body with a lacquer finish that deepens in color with age.
Every aspect of this guitar has been carefully considered to deliver classic playability and sweet vintage tone, including a 7.25-inch-radius Mid-1960s "C"-shaped maple neck with 21 vintage-style frets, a six-saddle vintage-style bridge with floating tremolo, and pickups specially selected for the Heritage Series.
