Natural Gold Nugget from the Clermont Gold Fields of Queensland

 

Up for auction is a unique natural Australian gold nugget weighing 0.48 grams. The approximate measurements are length 7 mm and width 5 mm. (Refer to picture against ruler).  This nugget originates from the Clermont Gold Fields of Central Queensland.  It was found in January 2026.  The gold is from alluvial deposits from ancient rivers and streams having originated from reefs nearby.  Gold from this area typically assays at 93-96% purity with the balance generally being silver (based on XRF analysis and Refinery Reports).  Both sides of the nugget are shown. Scale is in mm. 

Ideal for investment, resale or just for the collection.  Use the nugget for a pendant or other jewellery.  Buy with confidence directly from the prospector.

WEIGHT:  The gold has been weighted on a calibrated scale and the weight is as sold.  No warranty is provided as scales vary. 

WARRANTY: The nugget is sold as is, the only processing has been washing and cleaning in acid, it has not been polished.  No warranty or guarantee is provided as to purity or gold content.  Purity varies depending on other material in the nugget, such as silver, or quartz, which may not be visible.

POSTAGE:  On receipt of payment the item will be sent by Tracking Post, normally by the next business day.   If the value is over $100 I will ask if you want to include insurance & signature requirements.

MULTIPLE PURCHASES & COMBINED SHIPPING:

If you win or purchase multiple items, please pay for each order individually after the end of each auction.

Once your payments are received, the combined shipping will be arranged for up to five items in one parcel, whenever possible items will be shipped by the next business day.

After I have booked your shipment, the final shipping cost will be calculated based on the combined parcel, including added insurance if the value is over $100, and signature requirements etc.,

Any extra shipping charges you paid will be refunded to you after the shipping label is created and the parcel is processed.

International buyers? postage will depend on the cost of postage.
