Kogei Shinzu is a Meiji-period (1868-1912) Japanese woodblock-printed design book by Tanaka Yūhō. It was published in Kyoto by Unsodo in 1892. The book contains colour woodblock prints of decorative motifs - flowers, birds, plants and ornamental patterns, which were intended as design references for applied arts such as textiles, ceramics and metalwork.

Kogei Shinzu translates as New Designs for the Applied Arts.

This is a genuine antique print from the book and year stated. As such, it may show wear/ageing to the washi paper and have some imperfections - please have a good look at the photos to determine the exact condition. The final photo shows the book from which they were sourced (this isn't included in the sale). 

It measures around 21.5 x 15cm (8.5 x 5.9").
