We are offering an impressive vintage ( 1961 ) silk weaving of an old English town that includes a Church on the hill and " Ye Olde Castle Inn ". This weaving is titled on the lower Mat " Old Macclesfield ". It is also marked within the weaving at lower left " B.W.A. LTD MACCLESFIELD " and lower right " WOVEN IN SILK 1961 ". When unframed, a sheet of paper on the back, now covered by the back board, provides more information about the weaving's subject matter. Condition is Excellent with vibrant colors that have a silky sheen. The Frame is about 10 " by 8 " and the weaving about 6 1/2 " by 4 1/2 ". Kindly refer to our Photos. Thank you.
