PRE COLUMBIAN CHIMU BLACK WARE VESSEL  - IDOLS & FISH

On offer is what appears to be a pre Columbian - relating to the history and cultures of the Americas before the arrival of Columbus in 1492 – ancient South American black ware chimu vessel. With idol and fish motif. Height 17 cm. Damage and repair to neck and a few chips. Clear age (antique) perhaps pre 1500? Weight 370 grams.
