​For your consideration is an authentic vintage wood carving from the studio of Sebastian Pöll, located in the famous violin-making village of Mittenwald, Germany. This piece features a charming young musician, hand-carved with the high level of detail characteristic of the Black Forest / Alpine region.
​Condition Details
​This item is offered in As-Is estate condition:
​The Figure: The boy himself, his clothing, and the violin body are in excellent vintage condition with a beautiful natural patina.
​The Damage: Please note the tip of the violin bow is broken off and missing. There is also a small indentation on the front of the hat.
​Base: The original studio label is intact on the bottom: "Holzschnitzerei Sebastian Pöll, Mittenwald".
