CNC – X Axis – Pair -  Mounting Brackets –– Engraver, Router, Milling.

 Building a CNC machine a challenge is placing X Axis at a certain height. This pair of brackets solves not only mounting the X axis but also bolting the brackets to the base plate. In the 4th  picture is shown the rows of ¼”-32 threaded holes - @ approx. 1” distance used for extending the  X axis hight and in picture number 3 is shown the bracket mounted on a base plate (base plate not included) – The holes using to mount brackets to the base plate are at 4” distance. Overall dimensions per bracket – Approx. 343mm tall x 120mm wide(at the base and 60mm wide at the top x 19mm thick.

Important note: The Lab using these plates on a micro mill/router used extension plates to increase milling height for jobs requiring a higher X slide. This plates (not included) are easy to mount using the existing rows of threaded holes described above.(see last picture)
