There is a lot to like about this timepiece. For starters it is quite large at 52mm dia. The dial is 41mm in dia and supports huge batton indices and hands, allowing time telling at a glance. If you’re like me and don’t want to put your glasses on every time you need to check the time then this piece should be on your short list.
The black dial supports chronograph functions of the Japanese Seiko VD54. Elapsed seconds, accumulated minutes and a 24hr clock are registered on sunken sub-dials printed in white. Large hour and minute hands are finished in silver and tipped with white lume. The main sweep seconds hand has been finished in blue, tipped in white lume.
The large case is finished in high polish and brushed textures with the fixed bezel done in silver, adorned with engraved blue five minute dive indices. A large 12mm dia machine profiled crown takes pride of place at the 3 o’clock position, flanked either side by chronograph pushers. A screw down back and double O-ring sealed crown allow for a water resistance of up to 100 metres.
The blue camo two piece strap on these models is the latest in Invicta’s “dual injection layering” process. The strap is formed in one piece in multiple shades of blue, grey and black extending from the case lugs to the buckle. The strap is then completed with a large stainless buckle engraved with the Chase Durer logo.
If you are on the lookout for a large everyday wearer, one that you can tell the time from across the room, then you may want to check this piece out. Available in limited quantities and when they’re gone, they’re gone. Timepiece is new with tag and plastics attached. Comes in a Chase Durer presentation case and will be sent for free via Express Post within the land of Oz.
I have a No Return setting on my listings in an effort to combat unethical buyers returning items at will for no good reason thus increasing prices for the rest of us. If you have an issue with any of my watches please contact me for resolution.
All watches listed by me are in stock here in Australia and will be sent to purchasers within 24 hours of purchase.
I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed.
Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers.
If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige.
