This uncirculated 500 Algerian dinar banknote is a standard banknote issued by the Banque d’ Algerie. It is a purple and olive green banknote that is dated 01 November 2018, bear the signatures of Rosthom Fadhli and Salah Eddine Taleb, and measures 150 mm x 71.7 mm. Its obverse side shows an Alcomsat satellite hovering over the Earth. Its reverse side depicts different satellite dishes, an outline map of Algeria, and an automobile bridge. Security features include a holographic stripe with the heads of Emir Abdelkader and Numidian King Jugurtha, a green windowed security thread with a demetalized 500, and a watermark of Emir Abdelkader with an electrotype 500 pattern. The banknote has the theme “Science and Technology” and its date commemorates the 64th anniversary of the founding of the National Liberation Front.
