It is not often you see a sports/dive timepiece with a Mother of Pearl dial, let alone one that has the fit, finish and design features of this Reserve Cobra. The “A Grade” Mother of Pearl throws hues of black, green, purple and blue dependant upon light angles. The deep dished dial supports three sub dials of the Swiss Made Ronda Z60 Quartz engine. Chronograph functions of elapsed seconds and accumulated minutes are catered for along with a retrograde day of the week display. Round white lumed indices are outlined in gold. The hour and minute hands have been framed in gold, infilled with white lume. The main sweep seconds hand has been finished in white lume and features the “Reserve Logo” riding on its tail. A date window can be found in the 4 o’clock position.

The bezel measures 54mm across, it is finished in gold and heavily three dimensionally machined to include a centre groove in its vertical surface. This groove houses a circular ring supporting silver bezel towers. On top of these towers you will find 10 minute resin coated dive indices. Large 5 minute dive indices have then been machined into the horizontal surface of the bezel, centre filled in black.

A large 12mm dia onion shaped screw down crown is positioned at the 3 o’clock position partially protected by a case protrusion. This crown allows for time and date setting. Screw down 8mm dia chronograph pushers flank either side of the crown. Once screwed into their “lock” position this timepiece achieves a water resistance rating of up to 200 metres.

As with many of the Invicta timepieces the stainless bracelet fitted to this model has to be seen to be believed. A solid stainless, 4mm thick single link, three dimensionally machined structure beautifully compliments the casework. An integrated silicon pad finished in a snakeskin texture extends from the bezel to the bottom of the second link. This silicon inlay is reminiscent of the Invicta “Kraken” which is also a 54mm dia watch. This inlay rests on the wrist shoulders of the wearer, centring the timepiece and allowing for a comfortable wrist placement. The first two links are accented with a snake head design which loops over the top of the silicon inlay alluding to the “Cobra” design elements of this timepiece. A machined over centre double locking deployment clasp with micro adjustment completes what is an incredible build by Invicta.

Timepiece is new with tag and plastics attached. Comes in a Limited Edition Presentation Case and will be sent for free via Express Post within the land of Oz.

I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed.

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers.

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige
