One set of 8 Lotus 900 series (907, 910, 911, 912) Camshaft Follower (Tappet / Lifter) for the Lotus Elite, Eclat, Excel, Esprit, Jensen Healey and Talbot Sunbeam Lotus engine.  These tappets have been designed with a reinforced crown - which has a thicker top and greater internal radius for improved strength.  The followers are manufactured from hardened chromoly steel for improved durability.  Several thousand of these followers are now in service in Lotus engines, customers have reported inspecting the followers after 60,000 miles and finding them in excellent condition - good enough to reuse in a second engine build.  The original Lotus tappets were cast iron material, less durable than these forged steel versions. 

The Lotus 900 series cam follower is common to the Lotus Twincam, so these followers may well suit a twin cam rebuild. We also stock high strength followers with a thicker 6.25mm (0.246") pad and longer skirt for tuned engines with high lift cams.
