Invicta Jason Taylor 40412

This is another quite large timepiece by Invicta. At 54mm in dia and 22mm thick it certainly has wrist presence. These Jason Taylor pieces are manufactured in limited numbers and as such are quite sort after.

This particular model is finished in dark purple Ionic plating with gold accents. The combination of colours and the overall fit and finish quality really makes this model a standout. The deep dished dial is finished in purple with an almost vertical chapter ring in gold. Large round white lumed indices, outlined in gold sit on an inner chapter ring finished in purple. Skeletonised hour and minute hands are finished in gold, tipped in white lume. The main sweep seconds hand has been finished in gold.

An exhibition window at the 9 o’clock position displays the Seiko NH38 open heart. The large uni-rotational bezel has been finished in gold with large white lumed dive indices at 10 minute intervals. Arabic numerals, also at 10 minute intervals have been engraved into the horizontal surface and finished in purple.

What makes this model quite unique is the hinged cage that folds across the bezel. This structure is hinged on the left side of the case and is held in place via a screw down canister which also acts as crown protection. The screw down exhibition back with a large crystal window displays the mechanical movement which has been fitted with a yellow Invicta rotor.

The bracelet is quality all the way, being a solid stainless two link design. The first three links are fitted with small gold button accents. The sides of the case lugs are accented with 5mm gold plated screw heads. A double locking deployment clasp machined from a solid piece of 2mm thick stainless completes what is a unique timepiece by Invicta.

Watch is new with plastics removed for photographic modelling. Comes with tag and paperwork in an Invicta One Slot Dive Case and will be sent free via Express Post within the land of Oz.

I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed.

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers.

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige
