JEAN MAROT, RIVER FAÇADE OF THE GRANDE GALERIE DU LOUVRE, C.1670 (DETAIL)

This is a nicely mounted old original print- this is the first version of— as later versions have a correction of the location of an entrance. The later version is included for reference. The mat has marble paper detailing as well as hand drawn pin stripe lines. The frame is a black lacquer and ormalu guiding.

It has a stamp on the back paper from an interior design shop in Boston from many years back- likely cleaned and new back paper then.
