Louis Lo Monaco’s We Shall Overcome 1963 Pictorial Portfolio created as a souvenir for the the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.  It features five collage prints depicting the struggle for civil rights, designed to evoke emotion, represent man's inhumanity to man, and inspire advocacy.The artwork was created to serve as a memento for participants of the August 28, 1963, march and includes an introduction, a table of contents, and five collage prints that utilize imagery from the Civil Rights Movement.  The prints focus on themes of struggle, injustice, and the hope for equality and include an introduction with facsimile signatures from major Civil Rights leaders, including Martin Luther King, Jr., A. Philip Randolph, James Farmer, Roy Wilkins, and Whitney M. Young, Jr.
