This is a vintage souvenir booklet from New Orleans, "The Paris of America", published by the St. Charles Hotel in 1930. It is softcover, 40 pages, with a gilded embossed cover. Features color pictures, nice period advertising and overall history of New Orleans including Mardi Gras, attractions, even famous recipes. The main condition issue is the missing, disintegrated staples that bound the book. Rust has left stains on the binding edges of the pages (see photos), however, all pages are legible and intact. The cover shows minor wear on the edges and corners, with the staple damage already noted. Slight discoloration from aging.
