Perched at the top of a column of light emerging from the darkness, little Pinocchio looks down, alone, tiny, almost swallowed by the glowing and swirling immensity that surrounds him. The work is striking with its graphic power, its contrast of textures, and this dramatic tension which only belongs to the world of dreams or nightmares.
