A classic and lively 1960s Piero Fornasetti Milano metal tray* featuring

a musical instrument pattern. Fornasetti is a luxury design atelier founded in post WWII Milan by painter and printer Piero Fornasetti that is still in business today. This piece features a deep ivory/pale yellow background with a design of sheet music and instruments in gold across the front. The underneath side of the tray is black and has the original

maker's sticker. *Research indicates that this is a tray that was used as the top to a metal tray table. This listing is for the tray pictured ONLY. NO stand is present with this item.

Per Fornasetti's site, "The production process has always been one of Fornasetti's distinguishing features. All objects are made in Italy, strictly by

hand, upholding a tradition of expert craftsmanship that makes each

piece a true multiple of art."

Markings:

- Underneath the tray on the back, an original maker's sticker is present. Refer to photos #2 & 17 to see in more detail.

Condition:

- Vintage condition with significant signs of age and use.

- Discolorations present throughout the background ivory/yellow color of

the tray. These discolorations are visible in the above photos.

- Discoloration/missing layers present towards the top of the tray, left of the center and towards the top of the tray, right of the center. See photos # 5, 6, & 12 (left side) and #15 (right side).

- Scratches present throughout the entirety of the back/underneath side of the tray. See photos # 2, 17, & 18.
