A lovely and warm patinated French copper pot from A La Ménagère

(1863-1899), a 19th century Parisian department store. This is a sturdy

copper piece that has a wonderful patina and signs of life to its

surface. Cleaned and polished. Interior lining is tin. This piece is

ready to be refurbished! Tin lined copper cookware can be re-tinned by a

professional tinner. Sauce pan does NOT sit perfectly flat on an even

surface and and does show signs of wear.

Markings:

- A La Ménagère // A Paris // B. Bonne Nouvelle 20 (the markings have been worn down from use. See photo #5.

A sideways "8" is stamped on to the exterior side of the piece, likely

to indicate that it is either an 8 qt. pot or the 8th in a series of

cookware. See photos #11, 13, 14.
