Featuring: Ken Yasuda
Ken Yasuda is a former professional bodybuilder who won the prestigious title of Mr. Japan. He is now the head coach of the International Fight League's Tokyo Sabers. Because of his years of experience coaching numerous professional athletes, including Ichiro Suzuki (Seattle Mariners), professional wrestler The Great Muta, and UFC legend Don Frye, Ken realized that mixed martial arts require a different kind of training than any other sport.
A fighter must develop strength without sacrificing flexibility, explosive power to put an opponent down, and the stamina to outlast an opponent. This led Ken to put together this conditioning program.
In Volume 2, Ken shows how to condition on "lighter" days. With a solid hour focused on stamina training, including rope skips and Ken's relay running drill, you'll learn to create energy reserves that help ensure you never "run out of gas" in the ring — where the power to last can mean the difference between victory and defeat.
