Deep blue cloth bound hard boards with gilded spine lettering and design. Spine is modestly age toned. Gilded top page edges. Spine intact and tight; corners and edges fine. All pages are bright and clean with no flaws. 32 b/w plates are designs of John Flaxman.

Slip case is in acceptable condition with a few marks and some loose seams.
