The Bachmann Branchline 32-489Z is a limited edition OO gauge Class 40 diesel locomotive model, running number 40145 in BR Large Logo Blue livery.

This item is brand new and in immaculate condition throughout.

On testing is ran perfectly, even at 'crawl' speed.

It us a heavy locomotive weighing in at 634 grams.

The model is highly detailed and part of Bachmann's upgraded Class 40 line, which features enhanced mechanical and electrical components.

Scale and Gauge: OO gauge (1:76 scale),

16.5mm wheels to NEM standards.

Motor: A five-pole, twin-flywheel motor provides power to all six driving axles for smooth and prototypical performance.

DCC: The 32-489Z is a DCC ready model, equipped with a modern Plux22 decoder socket for easy conversion to Digital Command Control (DCC). A DCC sound-fitted version (32-489ZSF) was also available.

Lighting: Features a full suite of lighting including directional headlights and tail lights, plus switchable cab lighting, all with authentic colours based on the era.

Detailing: Includes numerous separately applied metal parts, a pre-fitted driver in one cab, sprung buffers, and an un-motorised rotating radiator fan. Accessory packs with optional parts like etched frost grilles and buffer beam pipework are also included.

Livery: Finished in the preservation era BR Large Logo Blue livery, representing locomotive No. 40145, a preserved engine often seen on heritage railways like the East Lancashire Railway.
