RARE IGLOO INK

HANDBLOWN

This igloo aqua ink is 1-1/8" tall. It has a ground pontil bottom.

The bottle is embossed J. & I.E.M PATd OCT 31st 1865.  It is handblown with a ground lip. The bottle has air bubbles and the glass is wavy. It was found on a Virginia Civil War site in Culpeper. The bottle dates to 1865. It is in very good condition with no chips or caracks. It would be a nice addition to a collection or as a display
