This early blobtop beer is 8-7/8" tall. It is embossed with a picture of an Elk and is embossed CONSUMERS BREWING CO. NORFOLK, VA and on the back REGISTERED EHE CO.  The bottom kicks up with no markings. The stopper is ceramic and is marked CONSUMERS BREWING NORFOLK, VA. TRADEMARK and the back is PATD OCT 15 1895 DREYFUSS BOTTLE STOPPER CO NY. The seam stops at the shoulder and the top is hand applied blob of glass. There are air bubbles and seeds in the glass. The neck and shoulder have mold whittle marks. This bottle dates from 1895. It is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This item would be a nice addition to a collection or display.
