IT IS VERY DARK NAVY BLUE, ALMOST BLACK no matter what the photo shows

I believe this dates from the 1940-1950 timeline. Interesting letter with Rambler patch.

Has one small moth hole. And as you can see in photos this sweater has been darned at one time, probably because of holes or from the maker.

From a clean estate and has not been cleaned by me. no stains or odors.
